East Midlands’ manufacturer DPI (UK) Limited has just completed the installation of super-sized retail display graphics panels for the showroom refurbishment for AX Supercars, based at Donington Park.
New images of roads with-a-claim-to-fame are encased in satin black aluminium frames. Five, two by one metre sized images were printed on fabrics with a silicone edge, so they simply pushed into the frames. When it’s time for the showroom to refresh showroom images, these can simply be printed and delivered to the showroom in a jiffy bag and fitted in minutes.
Director Paul Tomlinson explains, “We were delighted to get a call from Group Fleet Manager Aaron Girling at AutoXotica and be able to supply new graphics in our frames, manufactured right here in Castle Donington, literally down the road.
Our satin aluminium frame finish is very sleek and works really well with large black and white imagery. Installation was very fast and replacing images in the future won’t require any fitting. It’s a very cost effective way for businesses to update their showroom imagery. I have to admit though the supercars did steal the show! “
Based in Castle Donington, DPI (UK) Limited manufactures aluminium frames and light boxes used with tensioned fabric graphics for the large-format printing trade in the UK and Ireland. Widely used by major retailers, in airports and for conferences and exhibitions with fabric graphics printed via Dye Sublimation, Latex or UV devices, the fabrics then push fit onto DPI (UK)’s frames and can be folded or rolled enabling them to be cost effectively shipped.
